Percepting and tools for association
This is the general sense that I am thinking about lately.

I am through with being lead by the nose along a spend thrift digitalia program that leaves me with fast depreciating wonder junk gear. The matter is that the digital color is OK and sometimes plenty desirable and the workflow logistics not overbearing if you limit the tweaking and fabrication, but the loss of tonality, grit and feel is a loss that is of greater technical concern than anything. Quandary that I am in allows for judicious application of funds and future direction and pushes me to open the drawer with the F2 and the Minoltas and see what I have been missing.
The pattern here is that I notice that I am working with redundant gear to achieve less, and less is not more with digital selections included that simply weigh down the mind with unwanted angst and marketing guilt. Time to shake off this funk and step away from the stream of ill minded anxiety and continue with vision and exploration, my medium format camera is calling.
