La Virgen de Guadelupe is coming to a New Orleans near you

There is not yet a clear sense of the changes in New Orleans. The effect of Katrina on the infrastructure of this society is not clear mostly because of the lack of evidence of future trends and influences. The long term decay that New Orleans is suffering is less apparent due to the nature of those living here. I put it to all, that the apathetic condition of this town is due to those that are apathetic in this town. Simply, the point here is that New Orleanians are the ones responsible for the rot and decay that more conveniently we wish to blame on others and the storm.
